Veteran actor Anupam Kher has cautioned his fans regarding the presence of fake Instagram accounts using his name. He posted a video message on social media advising people to disregard follow requests from any account other than his official one. Anupam clarified that he only operates one Instagram account and urged everyone to ignore requests from any other accounts claiming to be him.
Several of Anupam’s close friends informed him about receiving follow requests from accounts impersonating him with his name and profile picture. In the video message, the actor expressed concern over the situation, emphasizing that he does not have any additional Instagram accounts. Anupam addressed the issue publicly to prevent anyone from falling victim to such impersonation attempts.
Currently, Anupam Kher is busy filming the sequel to the 2006 movie “Khosla Ka Ghosla!” directed by Dibakar Banerjee. The film revolves around Kamal Kishore Khosla, a middle-class Delhi resident, and his family’s efforts to reclaim their land seized by a builder named Khurana. “Khosla Ka Ghosla!” was honored with the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi at the 54th National Film Awards and was later remade in Tamil in 2008 and in Kannada in 2010.
Reflecting on his cinematic journey, Anupam Kher shared his excitement on commencing the shooting of his 550th film, “Khosla Ka Ghosla 2,” on January 3.
