Arijit Singh has teamed up with music composer duo Salim-Suleman for a fresh single called “Into You.” This new track follows Arijit’s recent announcement of retiring from playback singing. The song, a peppy romantic number, features vocals by Arijit Singh and Ananya Sharma and has been released just before Valentine’s Day.
“Into You,” written by Shraddha Pandit and Shivansh Jindal, explores the feeling of being instantly attracted to someone without expressing it. The music video showcases Dharmik Samani and Ananya Sharma displaying some stylish choreography and flaunting their smooth dance moves. Arijit Singh, in a recent Instagram post, thanked his fans and the music and film industry for their love and support over the years. He declared his decision to refrain from taking on any new assignments as a playback singer.
Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj recently urged Arijit Singh to reconsider his retirement decision, terming it as ‘unfair.’ Bhardwaj shared a video clip of himself singing a song that was recorded by Arijit. Expressing his disappointment, he called on Arijit to ‘take back his retirement.’
