A swift arrest has been made in the case of the shocking murder of an 11-year-old boy in Satna district, Madhya Pradesh. The accused, Mathura Rajak, was apprehended from his hometown in Sidhi district and is currently in police custody for questioning. Additional Superintendent of Police Shivesh Singh Baghel confirmed the arrest, highlighting the quick action taken by multiple police teams.

The tragic incident occurred in the Kolgawan area of Satna district, where the victim, Shivraj Rajak, a fifth-grade student, was found murdered in his rented home. The child was alone at the time of the attack, with his family members away for work and studies. The accused, known to the family, entered the house and fatally attacked the boy with a sharp sickle before attempting to conceal the crime.

Following the discovery of the murder, the boy’s mother raised the alarm upon finding the house locked from the outside and her son missing. The police, alerted by family members and neighbors, found bloodstains and crucial evidence inside the residence. A forensic team was called in for investigation, and the body was sent for post-mortem examination to gather further evidence in the case.

The suspect, Mathura Rajak, a local laundry worker with alleged prior threats towards the victim’s mother, is under intense interrogation to ascertain the motive behind the heinous act. Police are diligently investigating all angles of the case, including the possibility of accomplices. The focus remains on gathering concrete evidence and witness testimonies to ensure justice is served.
