Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. Gen. K.T. Parnaik (Retd.) stressed the vital role of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) in enhancing the state’s administrative structure. He highlighted the significance of transparency, accountability, and merit-based selection in all recruitment procedures.
In a meeting with APPSC Chairman Prof. Pradip Lingfa at Raj Bhavan, the Governor advised the Commission to ensure fairness, accountability, and transparency in conducting exams and recruitment processes. He emphasized that merit should be the sole criterion for selection.
The Governor acknowledged the APPSC’s importance in shaping the state’s governance system. He urged the Commission to maintain integrity, professionalism, and excellence to strengthen the state’s administrative framework. Lt. Gen. Parnaik recommended that the Commission focus on credibility, effectiveness, and public trust by selecting the most deserving candidates for public service.
The Governor also encouraged the Commission to leverage technology and adopt best practices in its operations. He suggested that modern digital systems could enhance efficiency, improve security, reduce errors, and make recruitment processes more accessible and reliable.
