Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), criticized leaders from the BJP and Congress for only engaging with voters during elections and then ignoring them afterward. Speaking at a regional booth conference, Kejriwal highlighted the disconnect between politicians and the public, emphasizing how leaders disappear once elections are over. He urged people to take charge and support AAP to establish their own government.
During his visit to Gujarat, Kejriwal condemned the BJP government’s 30-year rule in the state, blaming them for various issues including trade, employment, education, and healthcare deterioration. He called on the public to speak out against corruption and poor governance, encouraging them to follow the example set by the electorate in the Visavadar Assembly constituency.
Kejriwal also addressed incidents of police brutality towards farmers protesting against unfair practices, emphasizing the need to fight against corruption and injustice. He highlighted concerns such as unemployment, fake records in government schemes, and the lack of basic amenities. Kejriwal pledged to provide better facilities if AAP comes to power in Gujarat, promising benefits like free electricity, healthcare, education, and financial support for women.
