With its grand scale and international participation, ’Wings India 2026’ in Hyderabad is poised to be a significant event for the aviation industry. The event, commencing on January 28 at Begumpet Airport, will be inaugurated by Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu alongside dignitaries from India and abroad. Featuring over 150 exhibitors, 7,500 business visitors, and more, it is set to be a pivotal moment for both India and the global aviation sector.

The ministry anticipates that the event will mark the start of a notable global aviation congregation, showcasing India’s emergence as a key aviation hub for connectivity, manufacturing, services, innovation, and sustainability. Highlighting India’s aviation progress, the event will underscore its role as a driver of economic growth, regional development, and global connectivity.

Over the past decade, India’s civil aviation industry has experienced remarkable growth, becoming one of the world’s top aviation markets. The sector has seen a surge in passenger traffic, substantial aircraft induction by Indian carriers, and significant aircraft orders, positioning India as a major future aircraft market globally. The country has also witnessed rapid airport infrastructure expansion, emphasizing initiatives like UDAN for enhanced regional connectivity.

A strong emphasis on sustainable aviation practices, including Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and green airports, is reshaping the future of air travel. ’Wings India 2026’ aims to bring together a diverse range of stakeholders, including policymakers, CEOs, investors, airlines, airports, and technology providers, making it a comprehensive platform for aviation discussions and innovations.

Leading global and domestic aviation players such as Airbus, Boeing, and others will participate in the event, highlighting India’s increasing strategic significance in the global aviation landscape. The presence of top industry leaders underscores India’s growing stature in the global aviation domain.
