Assam BJP President Dilip Saikia revealed that the swearing-in ceremony of the BJP-led NDA government in Assam is set for May 12 at Khanapara in Guwahati. The event, to be graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other senior NDA leaders, will commence at 11 a.m. at the Veterinary College Playground.
Saikia expressed the widespread excitement among the public in Guwahati and other parts of Assam regarding the upcoming formation of the new NDA government. Anticipation is high, with over one lakh individuals expected to attend the historic ceremony at Khanapara.
The Assam BJP President shared that Prime Minister Modi is anticipated to arrive at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati around 10.15 a.m. on May 12. Subsequently, he will proceed to the Narengi helipad before heading to the venue at Khanapara.
Apart from the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister, the event is expected to be attended by former BJP national president J.P. Nadda, various Union ministers, chief ministers, deputy chief ministers from NDA-ruled states, and senior party leaders nationwide.
Preparations for the ceremony are under strict supervision by the party and the state government. Assigned ministers, senior BJP officials, and organizational leaders are overseeing arrangements and ensuring orderliness during the program.
Meetings of the BJP Legislature Party and the NDA Legislature Party are scheduled for May 10, where the new leader of the legislature party will be formally elected before the government formation, with J.P. Nadda and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in attendance.
