Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has revealed the timetable for handing out appointment letters to candidates chosen through the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE). The distribution will commence with Grade IV candidates receiving their letters on January 9, followed by Grade III candidates on January 10. The Chief Minister has urged all selected individuals to attend the event at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati at 10 am on the specified dates.

CM Sarma emphasized that the issuance of appointment letters underscores the government’s unwavering dedication to fair and merit-based recruitment. He reiterated that the ADRE process was conducted transparently and systematically to ensure equal opportunities for all aspirants in the state. This initiative is a crucial component of the Assam government’s commitment to providing employment to 1.5 lakh youths.

The Chief Minister has consistently affirmed the government’s resolve to create one lakh government jobs, later increased to 1.5 lakh, through transparent recruitment procedures devoid of corruption or intermediaries. He has praised the peaceful and efficient conduct of ADRE examinations throughout the state, with stringent monitoring to uphold fairness. Sarma has also highlighted the significant candidate turnout as a testament to the youth’s trust in the state’s recruitment system.

In recent years, the Assam government has issued appointment letters in stages across various sectors such as education, health, police, and other services. Sarma has stressed that the recruitment campaign is not solely about numbers but about reinstating faith in the system and ensuring that deserving candidates secure jobs based on merit. He has emphasized that employment generation ranks high among his government’s priorities, underscoring that transparent recruitment processes will empower Assam’s youth and fortify the state’s administrative framework.
