Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, speaking at a rally in Guwahati alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reaffirmed the BJP government’s commitment to accountability and responsibility in fulfilling promises to the people. Sarma declared a plan to create two lakh government jobs if the BJP wins the upcoming elections, emphasizing the party’s dedication to generating employment opportunities for the state’s youth. He highlighted the government’s past success in providing 1.5 lakh government jobs over the last five years, ensuring a transparent and merit-based recruitment process to prevent corruption.

Sarma expressed his belief in empowering Assam’s youth by offering job opportunities within the state, aiming to retain talent and foster local growth. Stressing the significance of each vote, he urged the public to consider the impact of their choice on Assam’s development trajectory. The Chief Minister credited the BJP government, led by Prime Minister Modi, for enhancing infrastructure, governance, and economic progress in Assam, which has facilitated an environment conducive to job creation.

The rally at Khanapara, attended by Prime Minister Modi, underscored the BJP’s strategic focus on youth, employment, and development as key themes leading up to the state’s elections. The event symbolizes a crucial political juncture in Assam, with the BJP’s agenda centering on bolstering opportunities for the state’s residents.
