The business community in Ayodhya expressed happiness and optimism over the Union Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. They praised it as “growth-oriented and inclusive,” highlighting the country’s progress towards the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Traders and businessmen noted the budget’s strong emphasis on infrastructure development, healthcare, and connectivity, expecting benefits not only for Ayodhya but the entire nation.
Pankaj Gupta, Vyapar Mandal President, Ayodhya Dham, commended the budget for its focus on building robust infrastructure and addressing healthcare needs, making medicines more affordable for those battling diseases like diabetes and cancer. He also lauded the proposal to establish a high-speed train connecting Varanasi and Ayodhya as a historic initiative. Nandlal Gupta, Vyapar Mandal General Secretary, Ayodhya, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the budget’s consideration for all sections of society, including the youth, tribals, farmers, and the underprivileged.
Siddhant Dubey, Vyapar Mandal Youth representative, viewed the budget as a significant step towards realizing the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047.’ He highlighted key announcements such as the establishment of three new Ayurvedic AIIMS, the development of 17 high-speed rail corridors, and the removal of customs duty on cancer medicines, foreseeing a positive societal impact. Local businessman Sunil Kumar Gupta remarked that the budget would benefit businesses of all sizes, instilling hope and confidence in the community.
