The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has extended the No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for pacers Shoriful Islam and Nahid Rana, allowing them to continue playing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). This decision came after a formal request from their franchise, Peshawar Zalmi, and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Initially valid until April 12, 2026, the NOCs have been extended for a day to enable the players to participate in Peshawar Zalmi’s upcoming PSL match on April 13, 2026.

Peshawar Zalmi, currently leading the points table in the PSL with four wins in five matches, is gearing up to face Multan Sultans in a crucial match. Meanwhile, Shoriful and Rana are also part of Bangladesh’s squad for the upcoming series against New Zealand. The first two One-Day Internationals are set to begin on April 17 at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka, followed by the third ODI on April 23 in Chattogram. The team, led by Mehidy Hasan Miraz, includes experienced players like Litton Das and Taskin Ahmed, alongside promising talents such as Rishad Hossein and Nahid.
