Shoriful rose 11 places to 28th, Mustafizur climbed 14 spots to 41st, and Rana surged 16 positions to 48th, showcasing Bangladesh’s strengthening pace bowling prowess.
The series also saw Bangladesh’s batsmen making notable gains in the rankings. Najmul Hossain Shanto moved up 11 spots to 32nd, while Litton Das jumped 15 places to 65th in the ODI batting rankings. All-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz improved his standing, reaching joint third in the ODI all-rounders’ rankings after a pivotal performance in the series-deciding match.
In the T20I rankings, Bangladesh players continued to impress during the ongoing series against New Zealand. Towhid Hridoy’s match-winning half-century in the series opener propelled him nine places up to 39th among T20I batters. Parvez Hossain Emon also advanced, moving three spots to share the 40th position. Among bowlers, Mahedi Hasan climbed three places to joint 18th, reflecting his consistent displays.
Additionally, Nepal’s players saw improvements in their rankings following the home series against the UAE. Dipendra Singh Airee rose to 60th among T20I batters, while Kushal Bhurtel made a significant leap of 18 places to joint 66th. Both players also enhanced their positions in the T20I all-rounders’ rankings, with Airee reaching fourth and Bhurtel 23rd, marking a fruitful period for Nepal in the T20 format.
