Bayern Munich secured a convincing 4-1 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach in a Bundesliga match at the Allianz Arena. Despite missing key players like Harry Kane, Bayern dominated the game with strong possession. The breakthrough came in the 33rd minute when Luis Diaz scored off a precise ball from Leon Goretzka.

Bayern extended their lead just before halftime as Konrad Laimer found the net after a swift counterattack. In the second half, a penalty awarded to Bayern led to Jamal Musiala calmly converting to make it 3-0. The team continued to press forward, with Nicolas Jackson adding a fourth goal in the 79th minute.

Despite a late goal from Wael Mohya for Borussia Monchengladbach, Bayern’s victory solidified their top position in the standings with 66 points from 25 matches. Borussia Dortmund trails behind in second place by 14 points, while Monchengladbach sits in 12th place with 25 points. Goretzka expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance but highlighted the need to address late goals conceded.
