The BCCI has declared a total cash prize of Rs 7.5 crore for the victorious U20 Men’s Cricket World Cup team, technical staff, and selection committee. India secured a record sixth U19 World Cup title by defeating England by 100 runs in the final held at the Harare Sports Club. The cash award will be distributed among the players, technical staff, and selection committee members.

14-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s remarkable century propelled India to victory in the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup. With contributions from Captain Ayush Mhatre (53) and wicketkeeper Abhigyan Kundu (40), India posted a total of 411/9. Despite a strong start by England, a collapse in the middle order led to their defeat, as India clinched their sixth U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup title.

India’s win in the U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup final marked a historic achievement, as they now hold both the ICC Under-19 Men’s and Women’s World Cup titles. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia mentioned that central contracts for senior men and women players will be announced soon. The board is also working on finalizing the prize distribution details for the U20 Men’s Cricket World Cup winners.
