The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has disclosed the lineup for India’s upcoming international home matches for the 2026-27 season. The M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will host international games for the first time since the October 2024 Test against New Zealand. Additionally, the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati will hold a Border-Gavaskar series Test for the first time.
The forthcoming home season promises an action-packed schedule with four visiting teams – West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Australia – competing across various formats. A total of 22 international matches will be spread across 17 cities, offering fans nationwide the opportunity to witness top-tier international cricket.
Commencing with the West Indies’ tour of India from September 27 to October 17, the season will feature a three-match ODI series followed by a five-match T20I series. The ODIs are set for Trivandrum, Guwahati, and New Chandigarh, while the T20Is will be hosted in Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
India will welcome Sri Lanka for a white-ball series comprising three ODIs and three T20Is scheduled from December 13 to 27. The ODIs will be played in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad, while the T20Is are slated for Rajkot, Cuttack, and Pune.
In the new year, Zimbabwe will tour India for a three-match ODI series from January 3 to 9, with matches scheduled in Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. The season will culminate with the prestigious Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia from January 21 to March 3, commencing in Nagpur and progressing to Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi, and Ahmedabad, promising an enthralling contest between two cricket powerhouses.
