A group of actors from the Bengali film and television industry has called for an investigation into the untimely death of actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, who tragically passed away while filming at Talsari beach in Odisha. Actors Sudipta Chakraborty and Rupanjana Mitra have urged for a thorough and unbiased inquiry into the circumstances surrounding his demise.
Rupanjana Mitra expressed her concerns on Instagram following Rahul’s death, highlighting the lack of safety measures during filming and emphasizing the need for accountability within the industry. Similarly, Sudipta Chakraborty, a member of the West Bengal Motion Pictures Artistes’ Forum, took to social media to demand a comprehensive police investigation into the unnatural death at the shooting location.
