Bengaluru FC, currently four points behind the league leader, will travel to Kolkata to play against East Bengal FC at the Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan. The two teams have had different outcomes in their recent matches, with Bengaluru FC losing 1-2 to Kerala Blasters FC, while East Bengal FC secured a 1-3 victory against Chennaiyin FC. Despite being tied on points, East Bengal FC still has a game in hand.

The upcoming match is crucial for both teams as Bengaluru FC aims to bounce back from their recent loss and East Bengal FC seeks to continue their unbeaten streak. Bengaluru FC will be looking to end their three-game winless run, while East Bengal FC, unbeaten in their last four games, is determined to maintain their momentum.

East Bengal FC’s coach, Muñoz, highlighted the attacking prowess of their opponents and expects an intense match focused on possession and goal-scoring opportunities. Midfielder Suresh Singh Wangjam expressed optimism about playing in Kolkata despite the challenges, emphasizing the importance of sticking to their game plan for a positive outcome.

Braian Sanchez, who received a red card in the previous game, will be eligible to play for Bengaluru FC after the League accepted the club’s appeal and overturned his suspension. Additionally, despite one player’s minor health issue, the rest of the squad is in good condition and prepared for the upcoming match.
