Bharat Tex 2026 has successfully secured textile investment commitments totaling approximately Rs 14,300 crore and received business inquiries amounting to nearly $2.8 billion. This event highlighted India’s increasing prominence as a global textile manufacturing and sourcing center. The Ministry of Textiles revealed that the event, spanning over 16 lakh square feet, featured 1,647 exhibitors and attracted close to 95,000 business visitors, including over 20,000 repeat visits and 6,090 international buyers.
Spread across more than 16 lakh square feet, Bharat Tex 2026 brought together 1,647 exhibitors, nearly 95,000 business visitors, including over 20,000 repeat visits, 6,090 international buyers, and 3,461 delegates and participants from 138 countries. The exhibition facilitated over 28,500 business-to-business (B2B) meetings, over 100 business-to-government (B2G) and government-to-government (G2G) interactions, and numerous strategic investment discussions during the initial three days.
The Ministry of Textiles reported that more than 30 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed by various states, with notable investments from states like Karnataka (Rs 2,821 crore), Bihar (Rs 1,476 crore), Maharashtra (Rs 1,095 crore), and Andhra Pradesh (Rs 4,100 crore). Additionally, textile recycling company RE&UP announced an investment of Rs 4,800 crore in India. The event also witnessed active participation from states such as Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, showcasing their textile ecosystems through dedicated pavilions.
