Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi has expressed deep concern over the recent attacks on minority communities, especially Hindus and temples in Bangladesh. He criticized the silence of Indian Opposition parties regarding these assaults, emphasizing the need for protection of Hindu community members and their religious sites. Saraogi urged the Bangladeshi government to ensure the security of Hindus in the country.
Saraogi highlighted the importance of standing up against atrocities faced by minorities and commended the Indian government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for prioritizing the safety and dignity of Hindus. He also praised Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for actively overseeing Bihar’s developmental progress, noting the approval of new schemes worth over Rs 50,000 crore during his recent tour.
Meanwhile, Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh strongly criticized the West Bengal government for an alleged attack on Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari. Singh accused the Mamata Banerjee-led government of promoting a “terrorist mindset” and vowed to restore democracy in the state. He condemned the reliance on “tyrannical elements, terrorists, and Bangladeshi infiltrators” for political support, emphasizing the BJP’s commitment to addressing illegal infiltrators in West Bengal.
