Reacting to the recent Union Budget, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for their efforts in moving India towards development. Choudhary expressed his satisfaction with the budget, stating that it marks a significant step towards achieving a developed India.
Choudhary shared his thoughts on social media, mentioning that he followed the budget presentation live alongside senior BJP members and officials. He emphasized that under PM Modi’s leadership, the budget will meet the common people’s expectations and pave the way for a stronger India by enhancing their capabilities.
The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted key financial reforms proposed in the budget. He mentioned the formation of a high-level committee to review the banking sector comprehensively. This initiative aims to modernize banking services, ensuring transparency and focusing on people’s needs.
Referring to tax reforms, Choudhary welcomed the upcoming implementation of the new Income Tax Act from April 1, 2026. He noted that simplified rules for small taxpayers, extended deadlines for filing income tax returns, and other measures will boost ease of doing business and support honest taxpayers.
Choudhary praised the budget for its trust-based and reform-oriented approach, emphasizing its role in promoting transparency, confidence, and economic discipline. He also commended the government’s emphasis on nuclear energy, considering it a strategic move towards clean energy and long-term energy security.
