Bihar Minister Ram Kripal Yadav criticized AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi for allegedly provoking the public with his statements. Yadav stated that Owaisi’s actions seemed to solely aim at inciting people, comparing it to running a shop. He emphasized the BJP government’s commitment to public welfare under the leadership of Himanta Biswa Sarma, asserting that people from all backgrounds trust Sarma and the BJP.
The Minister’s remarks were in response to Owaisi’s recent comments targeting Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for his alleged actions in the state. Owaisi, during a rally in Guwahati, called for a strong political response from the Muslim community, stressing the importance of voting to convey a message against what he termed as regressive politics.
Yadav’s comments reflect the BJP’s strategy to counter Owaisi’s narrative before the upcoming elections, focusing on governance and public welfare. He highlighted the widespread trust Sarma holds across different communities, indicating optimism about the BJP’s electoral prospects in Assam.
The Assam Assembly elections are set for April 9 to elect representatives for all 126 seats in the state legislature. Vote counting will occur on May 4, with the Election Commission officially announcing the results.
