Alana King showcased her bowling prowess, securing her second-best ODI figures, as Australia dominated the West Indies with a resounding nine-wicket triumph in the third ODI at Warner Park, sealing a 3-0 series whitewash.
The West Indies, opting to bat first, started strongly but crumbled to 78/5 by the 19th over, eventually being bundled out for a modest 136. Alana King’s exceptional 5-19 spell was instrumental in dismantling the opposition.
In response, Australia cruised to victory with Georgia Voll and Phoebe Litchfield’s solid opening partnership followed by an unbeaten 87-run stand between Litchfield and Ellyse Perry, reaching the target in just 19.4 overs.
The comprehensive series win capped off a successful Caribbean tour for Australia, who secured six wins out of six matches, including a 3-0 victory in the T20Is.
