BJP leader Dilip Ghosh stated that Banerjee has no right to question anything, highlighting her past governance and behavior with officials. He expressed confidence in the Election Commission’s ability to conduct fair elections.
JD(U) spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Prasad called Banerjee’s actions a diversion tactic due to her declining popularity. He defended the electoral roll revision process, emphasizing the need for accuracy in voter lists.
Samajwadi Party MP Rajeev Kumar Rai supported Banerjee, criticizing the Election Commission’s actions as leading to undemocratic abductions. Banerjee had raised concerns about the removal of senior officials and politicization of institutions.
