BJP candidates Srinivas Dasakariyappa and Veeranna Charantimath submitted their nominations for the Davanagere South and Bagalkot Assembly bypolls. Vijayendra were among the leaders present.

In Bagalkot, BJP candidate Veeranna Charantimath also filed his nomination for the Assembly seat. State BJP President B.Y. Vijayendra and other leaders paid respects at Basaveshwara Circle. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi and several former ministers and party members were in attendance.
State BJP President B.Y. Vijayendra, during a roadshow before Veeranna Charantimath’s nomination filing, criticized Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for alleged neglect of Bagalkot’s development. Vijayendra expressed confidence in BJP’s victory in the by-election and emphasized the party’s unity for success.
