The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) commemorated 12 years since the NDA government took office in 2014, lauding it as a period of good governance and development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. To mark this milestone, a nationwide campaign has been planned to showcase the government’s 22 major achievements spanning various sectors. This initiative will spotlight welfare schemes, infrastructure growth, economic reforms, digital governance, foreign policy successes, and social sector programs implemented during Modi’s tenure.

BJP National President Nitin Nabin congratulated Prime Minister Modi on the 12-year anniversary, emphasizing the transition from determination to accomplishment. He described this period, which began in 2014, as not just a governance shift but a significant moment reflecting the nation’s renewed self-assurance and cultural revival under Modi’s leadership. Nabin highlighted the government’s transformation of policies into tools for change for the common citizens, guided by the principles of inclusivity, trust, and collective effort, along with the vision of uplifting the last person.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh hailed May 26, 2014, as the start of a new phase in India’s development and civilization journey when Modi assumed office as Prime Minister. Singh praised the transformative governance and leadership witnessed in the country, encompassing economic progress, social welfare, self-reliant India initiatives, digital advancements, infrastructure growth, global leadership, and enhanced national security. He noted that India’s growth narrative had become more extensive, profound, and inclusive during the past 12 years.

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan characterized the last 12 years as a period dedicated to service, effective governance, and the welfare of the underprivileged. Chouhan highlighted the shift from what he termed as a phase of policy stagnation to one of reform, performance, and transformation. He portrayed the 12-year span as a golden era for India’s reconstruction, public welfare, and the vision of a developed nation. Chouhan credited the Modi government’s commitment to inclusivity and development for positively impacting the lives of individuals across the country, especially those in rural areas, farmers, women, underprivileged families, and youth.
