A jubilant atmosphere filled the BJP state office in Bhopal as party members celebrated their electoral successes across three Assemblies. The festivities included garland offerings, distribution of snacks and sweets, drumming, and fireworks, showcasing the party’s joy after the results. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, along with other leaders, participated in the celebrations and later listened to speeches by PM Narendra Modi and BJP President Nitin Nabin from Delhi.
Chief Minister Yadav hailed the victory as a clear endorsement of governance-focused politics, emphasizing that good governance, not appeasement or false promises, wins elections. He praised PM Modi’s leadership as a symbol of trust, noting that these results signify the triumph of public faith over fear.
In a veiled criticism of West Bengal’s political landscape, CM Yadav stated that the election there had become ‘Mamata versus the people,’ highlighting the public’s rejection of fear-based politics. He credited the victory to the relentless efforts of party workers under PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah’s guidance.
Yadav commended voters for their resilience in the face of challenges, expressing gratitude for their support despite obstacles. BJP State President Hemant Khandelwal echoed similar sentiments, interpreting the results as a resounding message from the populace.
Khandelwal criticized the opposition alliance, particularly Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, asserting that the alliance’s disintegration signals its lack of future in national politics. He underlined the BJP’s growing influence, citing its strengthening position across various states, even those traditionally less favorable to the party.
The celebrations were graced by several prominent figures, including Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Deputy Chief Ministers, marking a significant political moment for the BJP in Madhya Pradesh.
