The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) criticized Rahul Gandhi for his harsh comments during the Lok Sabha debate on the Union Budget. BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi accused Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party of disrespecting the House’s dignity. Trivedi stated that Rahul Gandhi’s speech was filled with false accusations and aimed at undermining Prime Minister Modi.

Trivedi highlighted that the Congress party, facing electoral defeats, is resorting to theatrics. Rahul Gandhi alleged that the government compromised India’s interests in a trade deal with the US. In response, Trivedi refuted these claims, citing instances from the Congress era to counter Rahul’s accusations of capitulation by the current government.

Sudhanshu Trivedi questioned the Congress party’s loyalty to the nation, pointing out instances where Congress allegedly favored foreign interests. He criticized Rahul Gandhi for persisting with issues like the memoir book row and the Doklam controversy. Trivedi accused the Congress of disregarding parliamentary norms due to personal animosity towards the Prime Minister and electoral setbacks.
