The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for alleging that 200 CRPF cars were en route to Bengal to attack. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini accused Banerjee of surpassing the previous state government in actions. Saini highlighted issues like youth mistreatment and high unemployment under Banerjee’s rule.

He further accused Banerjee of relying on illegal infiltrators for votes and claimed that the state’s infrastructure suffered due to them. The BJP leader emphasized the importance of security forces like CRPF and criticized Banerjee for her statements against them. Bihar Minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal labeled Banerjee’s claims as false propaganda and suggested they were a desperate move.

NCP MP Praful Patel defended the Election Commission’s deployment of central forces, stating it was a routine measure for ensuring fair elections. Patel expressed confidence in the EC’s efforts to maintain law and order during elections.
