Actress Kubbra Sait expressed her thoughts on the ongoing debate between films and OTT platforms. She highlighted that viewers now have the freedom to choose and emphasized that the storytelling’s impact outweighs the viewing medium. Kubbra stressed the importance of emotional connection with a narrative and its characters, irrespective of the platform.

In response to the films versus OTT debate, Kubbra Sait emphasized that it is not about winning or losing but rather about the different storytelling formats each medium offers. She noted that today’s audience enjoys the liberty to select content based on personal preferences. According to her, the essence lies in the audience’s emotional investment in the storyline and characters, regardless of the screen size.

During the discussion, Kubbra Sait also addressed the issue of unrealistic body standards propagated by social media. She questioned the tendency to blame social platforms for inducing insecurities and instead urged individuals to introspect on their self-worth. Kubbra advocated for self-belief as a shield against societal pressures, citing her personal choice to prioritize basic fitness over altering her appearance. She emphasized the need to refrain from judgment and focus on inner security rather than external validation.
