Reacting to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s comparison of BJP leaders to “stray bulls,” senior BJP leader B. Sriramulu fired back, calling Congress leaders “rodents.” Sriramulu criticized Siddaramaiah for being surrounded by untrustworthy individuals and expressed concern over the Congress’ fear of defeat in the upcoming by-elections in Davanagere South and Bagalkot Assembly constituencies.
During a press conference in Davanagere, Sriramulu sarcastically thanked Siddaramaiah for likening them to cows, highlighting the alleged corruption within the government. He accused ministers in Siddaramaiah’s administration of embezzling state funds and diverting resources for elections in other states and the Lok Sabha polls. Sriramulu also questioned the validity of the chief minister’s claims regarding the discontinuation of guarantee schemes if BJP wins in Bagalkot and Davanagere.
Alleging that the Siddaramaiah-led government was founded on deceit, Sriramulu pointed out discrepancies in the administration’s governance. He criticized the Congress for underestimating voters and expressed confidence in the BJP’s candidate for the by-elections. Sriramulu accused Siddaramaiah of burdening the state with significant debt and questioned the chief minister’s absence from crucial meetings, questioning his authority to criticize Prime Minister Modi.
