BJP National General Secretary Radha Mohan Das Agrawal criticized the Congress government in Karnataka, alleging economic exploitation and rampant corruption in Bengaluru. He specifically named senior Congress leaders, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, Minister for Water Resources Ramalinga Reddy, and Minister for Bengaluru Development Krishna Byre Gowda for engaging in economic coercion and misgovernance.
Agrawal expressed disappointment over the lack of development and basic infrastructure in Bengaluru, dubbing it as “Bad Bengaluru.” He called on BJP workers to intensify efforts to secure victory in the Byatarayanapura Assembly constituency in the 2028 Karnataka Assembly elections.
Other BJP leaders present at the meeting echoed Agrawal’s sentiments. BJP Karnataka co-in-charge Sudhakar Reddy accused the Congress government of corruption and expressed confidence in BJP’s return to power in Karnataka in 2028. Party workers were actively engaging in outreach programs to strengthen the organization in the constituency.
BJP State Secretary H.C. Tammesh Gowda highlighted the party’s readiness for upcoming elections, including the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) elections. He announced plans for a major agitation against non-performing legislators and the launch of a public awareness campaign in the Byatarayanapura constituency.
