Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and senior BJP leaders in Jaipur celebrated the party’s victories in West Bengal and Assam with ‘jhalmuri’, a popular eastern Indian snack. The festive atmosphere saw leaders like Satish Poonia, Ashok Parnami, and others gathering at the Chief Minister’s residence to mark the occasion. They exchanged greetings and shared ‘jhalmuri’ as a symbol of celebration.
The BJP leaders praised Chief Minister Sharma’s efforts in West Bengal, especially his outreach to various communities and social organizations. They credited the electoral success to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his governance, emphasizing the development prospects for West Bengal. The celebrations included references to PM Modi’s own ‘jhalmuri’ purchase during his campaign in Jhargram, Bengal.
Later in the day, further celebrations were planned at the state BJP office, highlighting what the party views as a significant mandate, including the NDA government formation in Puducherry.
