The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have addressed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s recent comments, refuting his claims on fuel prices, LPG supply, and India’s economic and foreign policies. BJP National Spokesperson R. P. Singh criticized Gandhi, calling him a fake leader and denying the alleged rise in fuel prices. Singh emphasized that the government has absorbed the excise burden and assured an ample supply of LPG, accusing the Opposition of intentionally creating scarcity to harm the nation.
In addition, Singh highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedication to infrastructure development across states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. He stressed the government’s commitment to executing numerous infrastructure projects to enhance the country’s overall development.
Furthermore, BJP leader Gourav Vallabh supported the government’s energy security and foreign policy positions, noting India’s significant crude oil reserves and smooth logistics for kitchen gas distribution. Vallabh pointed out the successful management of raw oil supply and highlighted India’s strong foreign policy stance, exemplified by preferential treatment for Indian-flagged ships in the Strait of Hormuz. He criticized the Congress party for its stance on these issues.
Responding to Rahul Gandhi’s statements, Vallabh expressed confusion over Gandhi’s claims about the US halting oil exports and training individuals to be housewives. He emphasized the importance of focusing on performance-based politics rather than creating panic, asserting that the country needs governance-oriented politics. Both BJP leaders reiterated India’s robust economic fundamentals, secure supply chains, and ongoing infrastructure development, accusing the Opposition of distorting facts for political motives.
