BJP MP Gulam Ali Khatana criticized the Congress for exploiting and dividing the tribal population in India. He commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for effectively reducing Naxalism in the country. Khatana highlighted the BJP’s efforts in rehabilitating surrendered Maoists and contrasted it with the alleged negligence of the Congress in addressing the issue.
Meanwhile, Amit Shah, speaking in the Lok Sabha, detailed the significant progress made under the Modi government’s zero-tolerance policy towards Naxalism. He mentioned the neutralization of Maoist leadership structures and the elimination of Naxalism from most districts, attributing this success to the government’s approach. Shah also criticized past administrations for neglecting tribal areas, allowing Maoists to exploit the situation and mislead innocent tribals.
Khatana emphasized the BJP’s dedication to the country’s welfare and highlighted the party’s initiatives for the surrendered Maoists. He contrasted the BJP’s approach of engaging with and rehabilitating Maoists with the Congress’s alleged failure to address the issue effectively.
