On the second day of “Delhi Shabdotsav 2026,” a literary and cultural festival at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi highlighted the importance of national unity. Trivedi warned against efforts to create divisions between North and South India, emphasizing the celebratory value of every word in Indian culture, from ancient texts to modern poetry.
Trivedi praised the BJP’s progress in South India, citing its recent electoral success in Thiruvananthapuram. He also noted significant investments in southern states, including tech giants like Microsoft, Amazon, and Apple setting up major facilities, showcasing balanced development efforts.
Additionally, Trivedi mentioned the establishment of defense corridors in Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu as examples of non-partisan development initiatives. He criticized political forces for exploiting linguistic and ethnic differences for electoral gains, advocating for unity and cultural interconnectedness.
Addressing vote-bank politics, Trivedi cautioned against divisive tactics based on caste, language, or religion. He urged the youth to resist polarization and shared advice from the Ramayana on love and virtue. The session, attended by BJP leader Madhavi Latha, saw active participation in discussions, poetry, and cultural performances.
