BJP National President Nitin Nabin is visiting Bihar for the first time since assuming office, with leaders from BJP and JD(U) calling it a proud moment for the state. Nabin, representing the Bankipur seat in the Bihar Assembly, will participate in the Budget Session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly this week.
Bihar Minister Dilip Jaiswal expressed joy, highlighting the significance of Nabin’s visit as a special day for the people of Bihar. LJP (Ram Vilas) MP Shambhavi Choudhary shared excitement, emphasizing the emotional connection Nabin has with Patna, his birthplace and ‘karmabhoomi.’
JD(U) spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan described Nabin’s elevation and visit as a matter of pride for the entire state, noting the historical significance of a Bihar leader leading the BJP for the first time. Union Minister of State Nityanand Rai mentioned the celebratory atmosphere in Patna, with preparations underway for a grand welcome for Nabin.
Nabin is expected to meet with Bihar BJP legislature party leader and members in Patna and attend the Bihar Assembly session for the first time as BJP chief. His appointment as the BJP’s 12th national president on January 20 signaled a generational change within the party.
