Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office bearers and karyakartas are gathered in New Delhi to assess the accomplishments of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership over the past 12 years. The meeting, chaired by BJP President Nitin Nabin, commenced in the afternoon and is expected to continue late into the night, as informed by Lok Sabha MP and party National Spokesperson Sambit Patra.
Patra highlighted the progress witnessed by the country under PM Modi’s governance, emphasizing growth in all sectors. He mentioned that the BJP, either independently or in coalition with NDA allies, governs in 22 states. Discussions at the meeting encompass the achievements of the Modi government, organizational expansion, strengthening at the grassroots level, and future strategies to enhance the party’s engagement across diverse societal segments.
The party’s exponential growth from a mere two Members of Parliament to a significant political entity was underscored by Patra. Emphasizing the pivotal role of karyakartas, he stated that the meeting aims to reinforce the party’s grassroots work by incorporating feedback from stakeholders and exploring avenues for further development. The ongoing expansion under the current party President is anticipated to bring about substantial organizational changes, including initiatives to involve more youth, empower women, and support the progress of marginalized communities.
