BJP President Nitin Nabin is set to convene with the party’s State unit Presidents in Delhi on Monday to relay Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message to the top leadership. The meeting gains significance as elections for 24 Rajya Sabha seats across 10 states are scheduled for June 18, as per the Election Commission’s announcement.
Discussing with the BJP core group on Sunday, PM Modi’s dialogue holds importance in light of the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections and Legislative Councils’ polls. Nabin’s interaction with state unit chiefs aims to refine election strategies and plan activities marking 12 years of the Modi-led Union government.
Accompanied by B.L. Santhosh, BJP’s National General Secretary (Organisation), and other National General Secretaries, Nabin will strategize for the forthcoming elections during the session. The agenda includes reviewing state-level BJP activities and addressing organizational expansion issues.
Focusing on strengthening BJP at the booth level, Nabin eyes the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa, and Manipur in early 2027. The meeting coincides with the final stages of BJP state units’ training sessions for Mandal-level workers under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Maha Prashikshan Abhiyan.
