BJP Punjab President Sunil Jakhar accused the Aam Aadmi Party of being behind the recent coordinated attacks on Bharatiya Janata Party offices. Jakhar claimed that the attacks were part of a planned conspiracy to disrupt the political landscape in Punjab. He emphasized that such tactics would not deter the Enforcement Directorate and the Central Bureau of Investigation from combating corruption.
Jakhar, after meeting with the Senior Superintendent of Police in Mohali, urged swift action against those responsible for the attacks. He alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party, facing pressure from anti-corruption measures, resorted to attacking BJP offices as a desperate political move. The simultaneous and patterned nature of the attacks indicated a deliberate strategy orchestrated by the opposition party.
Demanding a thorough investigation, Jakhar called for identifying the masterminds behind the conspiracy and holding them accountable. He criticized the involvement of Vigilance Department officials in corruption and stressed the necessity of CBI intervention in such cases. Jakhar warned against political interference in law enforcement and vowed to uphold accountability for all individuals involved in corrupt practices.
