Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi commended the BJP and its allies for their triumph in the Maharashtra civic elections. Trivedi emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s focus on development has overshadowed the divisive “INDI alliance” that promotes caste and regional divisions. He highlighted the choice between progress and cultural pride led by PM Modi and the fragmented, anti-national stance of the opposition.
The BJP’s consistent victories indicate the weakening of opposition parties, driven by vote-bank politics that support infiltrators, according to Trivedi. He urged the public to decide between a flourishing India, exemplified by Uttar Pradesh’s development under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and a divided India under the ‘INDI alliance’.
Trivedi pointed out the internal divisions within the ‘INDI bloc’, citing examples from various states like Delhi, Kerala, Maharashtra, Bengal, and Tamil Nadu. He noted the setbacks faced by the Samajwadi Party in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections and questioned the existence of the ‘INDI alliance’ in Uttar Pradesh.
The BJP spokesperson raised doubts about the sustainability of the ‘INDI alliance’ in the face of recent electoral outcomes in different states. Trivedi criticized the opposition for misleading the public with deceptive narratives under the guise of the ‘INDI alliance’. He also highlighted the contradictory statements made by Akhilesh Yadav regarding voter dynamics and called for clarity on his stance.
Trivedi concluded by challenging Akhilesh Yadav to clarify the status of the ‘INDI alliance’ in Uttar Pradesh and criticized the opposition for their alleged pro-infiltrator politics and frustration-driven strategies.
