BJP National General Secretary, Tarun Chugh, criticized the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh during a party meeting, stating that its days are numbered. Chugh predicted the Congress government’s exit within the next 18 months, with BJP poised to take over with public support.
Chugh slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s governance model in the state, claiming it has failed. He highlighted unfulfilled election promises and increasing hardships faced by the people. According to Chugh, the state has regressed significantly during the Congress rule of three-and-a-half years.
Pointing out the state’s financial strain, Chugh noted heavy reliance on loans for basic functioning. Development projects have stalled, schemes are incomplete, and there are challenges in paying salaries and pensions. He urged BJP workers to address these government failures at the grassroots level.
Chugh emphasized the need for BJP workers to expose the Congress government’s alleged financial mismanagement and anti-people policies. He underscored the commitment to align Himachal Pradesh with the development trajectory under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
