A boat carrying 10 individuals capsized in Rajasthan’s Banswara, leading to two people, including an eight-year-old child, being reported missing. Eight occupants, including the boatman, were able to swim to safety. The incident took place near Bhaisau village under the Arthuna police station limits around 3 p.m.

Rescue operations are currently ongoing, with the involvement of police, Civil Defence, and the State Disaster Response Force teams at the site. Local divers and villagers have also joined in the search efforts. The missing individuals have been identified as 21-year-old Jayesh and eight-year-old Manav.

Efforts to locate the missing persons are being intensified, with a team of around 10 members conducting search operations using two boats. The search will continue until nightfall. Local fishermen have been engaged to assist in finding the victims and the submerged boat, which has not yet been recovered.
