Bodo/Glimt secured their first-ever UEFA Champions League round of 16 spot by defeating Inter Milan 5-2 on aggregate. Jens Petter Hauge and Håkon Evjen’s goals gave them a comfortable lead despite Inter’s late efforts. Meanwhile, Newcastle United also advanced to the last 16 with a 3-2 victory over Qarabag.

Newcastle United, after a 6-1 lead from the first leg, sealed their spot with goals from Sandro Tonali and Joelinton in the opening six minutes. The match saw a flurry of goals in the second half, ending with a 9-3 aggregate win for Newcastle. Eddie Howe praised his team’s performance, emphasizing their resilience and success in navigating the pressure games.
