Bundelkhand Bulls continued their winning streak in the women’s division of the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) T20 Scindia Cup 2026 by defeating Gwalior Shernis with a thrilling four-wicket triumph. Gwalior Shernis, batting first after being put in by Bundelkhand Bulls at Daly College, Indore, posted a total of 117/6 in their allotted 20 overs. Bundelkhand Bulls’ disciplined bowling, led by Shuchi Upadhyay and Muskan Biswas, turned the game in their favor. Shuchi stood out with figures of 3/30 in her four overs, while Muskan also impressed with 2/17. The Bulls faced a shaky start in their chase, losing early wickets and falling to 31/3. However, captain Anushka Sharma and Suhani Sharma stabilized the innings with a crucial 49-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Anushka’s unbeaten 49 runs guided the Bulls to victory, with her standout performance earning her the Orange Cap.
The match witnessed a significant moment in the 17th over when Mahi Thakur seemed to be dismissed, only for the delivery to be ruled a no-ball. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Mahi contributed 16 runs off 18 balls. Despite some setbacks, including a run-out of Payal Balmik, Anushka’s composure at the crease ensured Bundelkhand Bulls’ successful chase, marking her total score to 140 runs in three matches.
