Ahead of the release of the romantic film “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai” on June 5, actors Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde visited Ahmedabad to promote their upcoming movie. While in the city known for its delicious food, the trio enjoyed a traditional thali meal together. Varun was seen sharing Gulab jamun with Mrunal and Pooja during their visit.
The movie’s trailer, released recently, teases a storyline where Varun’s character shares a romantic moment with his on-screen wife, played by Mrunal Thakur, but the plot takes a twist as they head for a divorce due to various reasons. Varun’s character then encounters Pooja Hegde’s character and develops feelings for her, leading to unexpected events where he becomes the father of both Mrunal and Pooja’s children.
“Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai,” produced by Tips Films Ltd in collaboration with Maximilian Films (UK), also stars Mouni Roy, Chunky Panday, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar in supporting roles. Director David Dhawan expressed his excitement for the film, calling it his 46th project and emphasizing its elements of humor, confusion, music, and emotions.
This movie marks the fourth collaboration between David and Varun Dhawan, following their work together in “Main Tera Hero” (2014), “Judwaa 2” (2017), and “Coolie No. 1” (2020).
