Chanmari FC secured a convincing 4-1 victory over Namdhari FC in an Indian Football League (IFL) match at the Namdhari Football Stadium in Sri Bhaini Sahib, Punjab. The win boosts Chanmari’s chances of securing a top-six spot in the league for the 2025-26 season.
Pepe opened the scoring for Chanmari in the fourth minute, followed by goals from Christopher Kamei, Lalruatsanga, and Lalthangliana. Adersh Mattummal netted Namdhari’s solitary goal in the encounter.

Namdhari FC, currently in ninth place with seven points, has been relegated to the lower division. Meanwhile, Chanmari FC has temporarily climbed to fifth place in the league standings with 11 points and a goal difference of -1. The team will be closely watching other match results to secure their top-six position.
Assistant coach Sirtaj Singh Randhawa made changes to Namdhari’s lineup, while Chanmari FC’s Dipankur Sharma also shuffled the team, with Pepe making a notable impact with a goal and an assist.

Chanmari FC’s early lead through Pepe set the tone for the match, with the team displaying dominance and control. Namdhari FC struggled to break through Chanmari’s defense, resorting to long-range attempts that failed to trouble the opposition.
Despite some promising moments, Namdhari failed to capitalize on opportunities, allowing Chanmari to dictate the pace of the game and secure a comfortable victory.
