Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is set to inaugurate the Hanuman Lok project, developed by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department, in Chhindwara district on March 26, coinciding with Ram Navami. The project, spread across nearly 30 acres, aims to become a significant religious tourism site in the state.
The Hanuman Lok project, an extension of the existing Jam Sawali Hanuman temple, is a blend of modern technology and ancient customs. Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan laid the foundation stone before the 2023 Assembly election. This mega religious endeavor will showcase various statues and depictions of Lord Hanuman, including a sculpture of his childhood form.
As part of the project, a Sanjivani Path will be established for the encircling of the sacred Ramtekri mountain, as outlined in a blueprint unveiled by the state government during the project’s introduction in 2023. Additionally, Chief Minister Yadav will also inaugurate over 100 completed development projects worth Rs 506.29 crore during his visit to Chhindwara and the newly formed district of Pandhurna.
Among the projects to be unveiled are an office of the Madhya Pradesh Building Development Corporation valued at Rs 69.49 crore, a Collector’s Office, a District Hospital, and a Superintendent of Police (SP) Office in Pandhurna. These facilities will enhance administrative, healthcare, and law enforcement services in the district, ensuring improved amenities for the residents. Notably, Pandhurna became the 55th district of Madhya Pradesh in October 2023, created by merging Pandhurna and Sausar tehsils for better administrative efficacy.
