Zhang, the Tokyo Olympic champion in men’s 50-meter rifle three positions, took silver with 252.4 points after a strong performance.
Sweden’s Victor Lindgren prevented a Chinese podium sweep by claiming bronze, narrowly beating Ma Sihan by 0.2 points. Additionally, China’s Yao Qianxun and Hu Kai set world records in the 10-meter air pistol mixed team event, winning gold with a score of 488.4 points. The Hangzhou World Cup will continue until July 28, featuring more shooting events.
