The Class 10 public examinations for students in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry will start on Wednesday and run until April 6. These exams are crucial for students in these regions, with a total of 9,09,397 candidates expected to appear this year. This includes students from schools under the State syllabus as well as private candidates.
Special arrangements have been made for students with disabilities to ensure they can take the exams smoothly. Around 12,292 differently-abled students will have scribes or interpreters to assist them during the examination. Strict procedures have been implemented at all exam centers to maintain transparency and prevent irregularities.
To oversee the exams, 49,542 invigilators have been appointed across the State. More than 45,000 teachers will be involved in exam duties each day, including supervision and administrative tasks. Additionally, 4,800 flying squads have been deployed to prevent malpractice and ensure strict monitoring at exam centers.
