However, Trinamool Congress leader Ritabrata Banerjee denied any possibility of a merger with Congress. Meanwhile, Congress announced a national-level campaign against various issues for the next three months.
Venugopal explained the cancellation of Meenakshi Natarajan’s Rajya Sabha nomination, citing her failure to disclose a court notice. He emphasized that there were no criminal charges against her, leading to the rejection of her nomination.
